IRON BUTTERFLY / YES / DADA The Age Of Atlantic (Superb 1971 UK twelve page 8" x 10" programme for the package tour put together to publicise the label and the compilation album of the same name, featuring a re-invigorated Iron Butterfly thatwere about to release 'Metamorphosis', a freshly added Steve Howe infused Yes that still had Tony Kaye on Keyboards, supported by Dada which featured Elkie Brooks, her husband Pete Gage, and Robert Palmer amongst others. All these acts featured on the compilation album, along with other Atlantic label acts. The programme itself is in very reasonable condition with some light discolouration in places and a small tear to a few pages at the opening near the bottom, visible in the scan, and the back cover. The illustrated articles inside on the three bands remain clearly readable & free from any tape marks or pinholes. For forty year old 'active service' paper goods like this, to have survived at all is rare & this programme still retains that suitable vintage feel and although not mint is still in very acceptable condition and available here at an advantageous price. A wonderful memento of a series of exclusive events put on by Atlantic Records and probably the only tour programme to feature both Iron Butterfly & Yes on the same bill!) more...
