The sleeve has just a little wear to the edges and some discoloration from age to the non laminated reverse, whilst the vinyl has just a few light cosmetic surface scuffs, the labels has some spindle marks to show it has been played. Certainly an all round Excellent condition example of this sixties must own LK4689)

This nicely framed and glazed award measures 20" x 16" in size, and features a silver LP above the artwork miniature and authentic, custom engraved dedication plaque, mounted on a blue felt background with Union 'Jack' Flag in the top left corner, and in a silver metal frame)
SPIRITUALIZED Songs In A&E (Rare pair of 2008 UK double sided ultra-high-grade methyl cellulose metal based lacquer reference test pressing acetates from the Universal/Castle label, for the commercially released double album. Each side on both disc's have Heathmans Mastering studio printed labels with artist & album name along with the date 18/4/2008, each in a studio sleeve with copies of the labels attached)

Tracklisting: An acetate is a transitional stage between the master tape and the finished vinyl record. Originally acetates were used for home recording in the days before tape recorders, but since the advent of cassette tape & CDR are now no longer used for providing bands & their entourage copies of today's studio efforts. A machine actually cuts the grooves into the acetate like a lathe. The acetate is used to assess whether the music has been successfully transferred to disc. It is checked by the sound engineer. There may be only one copy made of a particular recording, sometimes more are cut and sent to the studio and band members for approval. The acetate comes before making the master, and allows the sound to be checked without great expense. It is unusual for more than a dozen to be manufactured, so from the collector's point of view an acetate is a rare find indeed! If the recording is rejected the acetate may be the only record that survives. The rejected cut may simply be poor quality, however the artist may have opted to use a different take of the song, if so, the acetate becomes much more precious. An incredible find - possibly unique - and certainly one of only a handful. This copy is also in amazing pristine condition. Tracklisting 1. Harmony 1 [mellotron] 2. Sweet Talk 3. Death Take Your Fiddle 4. I Gotta Fire 5. Soul On Fire 6. Harmony 2 [piano] 7. Sitting On Fire 8. Yeah Yeah 9. You Lie You Cheat 10. Harmony 3 [voice] 11. Baby I'm Just A Fool 12.
