PRETTY THINGS Get The Picture (Rare original 1965 German Fontana label 12-track vinyl LP - this truly is an amazing find, an original issue of the band's second album. Sharing close links to the Rolling Stones [Dick Taylor having played in an early incarnation of the band], the Pretty Things have undergone a dramatic rise in popularity of late, a rise that is long overdue. Like the quality of the musicianship, the condition of this album is unbelievable given it's 44 years of age. The front laminated picture sleeve is remarkable, showing no signs of discolouration and only the lightest signs of wear to the reverse. The vinyl within is also faultless, the only signs of play being a few spindle marks to the label. This really is an amazing opportunity to own an original issue of this album; in fact, it's the first copy we've seen in 20 years, which goes to show just how rare this is...) more...

PRETTY THINGS Get The Picture? (Super rare original 1965 Australian Philips label issue 12-track MONO vinyl LP, housed in a front laminated flipback picture sleeve variant with pinched spine. The sleeve has some light staining and a little shelfwear on the reverse, with the name of a previous owner [neatly] written by the top edge, however the uniquely bordered cover image is bright and unfaded, all edges are intact and the flipbacks are secure. THE PRETTY THINGS Honey I Need Your Loving (Very rare 1967 South African single sided 33RPM mono metal based ultra high grade methyl cellulose lacquer acetate including both sides of their single release, with the second track being Don't Bring Me Down. This number [TF734] was used for a Julie Felix single the year before in the UK. The acetate label is plain and hand typed with the Artist, titles of the songs & 'Southern Music (Pty) Ltd' publishing information. This copy still has the 'Return to Audio Dept NOT APPROVED' text diecut paper sleeve which also has typewritten details on the reverse along with a rubber stamped date of '8 JUL 1967'.
