THE WHO My Generation (Archive Quality Debut 1965 UK first press 12-track deep groove mono LP released on 3 December 1965, the most explosive, killer Mod record of its day with an energy never rivalled or repeated by anyone, housed in the classic Robert Stace 'Clarifoil' front laminated picture sleeve with pinched spine. This is a spectacular example. Bought from new at the time of release by its one fastidious owner, the sleeve is Near Mint & retains beautiful, clean, tight & unmarked laminate. The back panel reveals merely the lightest spot of ageing creeping in the from the edges & the print remains Near Mint with no concerns. Somehow the inner sleeve still appears brand new & the vinyl is a lovely Near Mint, showing only the lightest evidence of one or two careful plays in its lifetime nearing the spindle hole & first track. A British Invasion masterpiece, this bluechip, investment copy is worthy of a museum! Highly recommended LAT8616)
