THE WHO My Generation (2008 Japanese exclusive promotional limited 'Deluxe Edition' 48-track digitally remastered 2-disc SHM-CD [Super High Material CD - playable on all CD players] album set, still sealed from new, with obi-strip - perhaps the definitive release of this landmark 1965 album, featuring the original 1965 mono mix [1st time on CD!], single tracks & outtakes from the LP sessions, plus Shel Talmy's 2002 stereo remix, superbly presented in individually numbered deluxe spot lacquered hinged-lid box [see 'Track Listing' for more details on the incredible packaging...)

The box also contains 20 3" card sleeves, representing various EPs and singles taken from the album, including French front-laminated flipback designs, Italian, Swedish, Japanese, Danish & German variants!

Lastly, there are 2 card inserts duplicating the original UK & US label designs, a Japanese/English lyric booklet and wraparound obi strip!

The SHM-CD [Super High Material CD] format features enhanced audio quality through the use of a special polycarbonate plastic. Using a process developed by JVC and Universal Music Japan discovered through the joint companies' research into LCD display manufacturing, SHM-CDs feature improved transparency on the data side of the disc, allowing for more accurate reading of CD data by the CD player laser head. SHM-CD format CDs are fully compatible with standard CD players.
