VARIOUS ARTISTS Sixties Tour Poster (Original UK 1964 Coleford British Legion Hall & Club concert poster, advertising cult Scottish mod/R&B exponents The Pathfinders [band member Ian Clews would go on to form White Trash who were briefly signed to Apple Records], with support on the night from Kim Taylor, Kris Brenner and The Falcons. Measuring a huge 29" x 38" with striking red and black lettering overlaid on a pale green background this vintage item is dated Saturday 3rd October[which a little research has identified as 1964], the evenings entertainment ran from 8-12 and would have cost you the princely sum of 6 Shillings! The condition of the item is stunning with no rips, tears or worn edges and showing only some light spots of discolouration and a couple of areas of creasing [presumably from where the item has been folded and stored carefully for fifty years]. In short, it's a beautiful piece of iconic British pop memorabilia that would take pride of place in any music connoisseur's home!) more... Last copy in stock. VARIOUS VIRGIN ARTISTS What Else Lasts So Long, Costs So Little And Means So Much? (Well, apart from me, apparently the phrase also applies to Music. This is a nice and absolutely genuine Chromalin proof art sheet with colourbars & crop marks, produced for an intended record shop display during the 21st Anniversary celebrations of Our Price record stores in 1992. Measures 12" x 15". Apart from a little age yellowing in places, this Chromalin is in great condition and given it carries adverts for Belinda Carlisle, Simple Minds, Sex Pistols, Peter Gabriel, Mike Oldfield, Keith Richards, Roy Orbison and Genesis it makes an eclectic but interesting collectors item for any collector of these artists) more...
