THE GRAHAM BOND ORGANISATION The Sound Of 65 (1965 UK
first press 14-track mono LP on the blue & black Columbia
label, the astounding debut from Bond, Jack Bruce, Ginger
Baker & Dick Heckstall-Smith, offering an innovative fusion of
R&B, blues, jazz & showcasing the outstanding musicianship
of the quartet, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The
cover [VG+] has some ring wear creasing with the odd spot of
tiny paper loss to a corner or two. The back panel remains
sharp with nowriting & just minor age wear. The vinyl has
been professionally cleaned & grades VG. There are some
spindle marks by the centre hole & a degree of paper scuffing
both sides, with several paper hairline marks. Playback
remains superb on a mono setting due to the quality of British
vinyl from this period, although some light background
surface is apparent in the quieter sections. A very serviceable
example & the sound of '65! 33SX1711)

GRAHAM BOND ORGANIZATION There's A Bond Between Us
(1965 UK 12-track mono vinyl LP, front laminated flipback
picture sleeve. The sleeve on this copy shows some mild
shelfwear with a degree of discolouration to the unlaminated
back, but remainsintact & untorn. The vinyl too shows some
noticable surface scuffs, spindlemarks around the centre hole
& has obviously been played, but still sounds far better than it
looks, thanks to the high quality sixties pressing. Upon play
testing, wefound it to play with just a little surface noise
evident in quiet passages and between tracks. A very
acceptable copy of this great album at an extremely
advantageous price 33SX1750)
