With a great many of our traditional songs threatening to be lost to the mists of time, the commiting to record of one with such an extensive repertoire may help to keep a few alive as their native environment continues to shrink at an alarming rate. For that, once again, thanks must go to Bill Leader, along with Peter Bellamy. The gatefold picture sleeve has the lyrics to all of the pieces performed inside.
