Tracklisting & More Information

1. Little Red Rooster
2. Off The Hook

Little Red Rooster was the sixth Rolling Stones single to be manufactured and released in Japan.

The unique picture insert depicts all five band members standing up and in high spirits with Mick in the centre, cigarette in hand. It is printed in black, white and red with artist and song titles in English and Japanese.

The gatefold-style sleeve opens to reveal a brief biography on page two, printed in Japanese hiragana and katakana script, with English lyrics for both tracks on page three. The back cover depicts six alternative single releases in the Japanese 'Hit Series' available at the time, commonly known as an "ad-back" cover. In the bottom right-hand corner is a ¥330 price marker, indicating first issue.

The condition of the sleeve is beautiful with only very light creasing and hardly any wear at all with age; a unique Japanese-only sleeve design.

The labels are clean and shiny both sides, with a London/ 'ffrr' logo positioned above the large jukebox-style centre hole.

Manufactured by King Record Co. Ltd, Tokyo, Japan, the vinyl is in better than excellent condition with just a few faint cosmetic marks and is housed in its original die-cut pink & black London flipback sleeve, which is also excellent.

A near perfect example of a very rare Stones collectable from Japan!
