VIVIAN STANSHALL Teddy Boys Don't Knit (1981 UK 16-track vinyl LP
by the wonderfully demented late & very great Viv, who really should
have been knighted for his services to British Eccentricity, complete
with illustrated lyric inner and picture sleeve with artwork by Viv
himself. Containing the hit single 'Terry Keeps His Clips On', a
cautionary tale based loosely upon his father and the perils of
wandering abroad in Summer with stinging insects lurking ready to
pounce upon the unwary. The Tube is a delightful tune about the joys
of parenthood, Ginger Geezer about his confused teenage years as a
posh Ted & Calypso To Collapso about the mixed benefits of alcohol
consumption. What more could you possibly want from an album ?
OK. The sleeve & vinyl are near mint. Shame on the previous owner,
I'd say, but their loss is your gain CAS1153)

VIVIAN STANSHALL Sir Henry At Rawlinson End (Original 1978
UK 15-track LP from the one and only Viv, on the small Pink
Mad Hatter label with A1/B1 matrices plus 'distributed by
Phonogram' perimeter text, housed in an embossed sleeve
complete with fold-out lyric/poster. The sleeve has a little
corner creasing and some light edgewear; apart from a little
spindle wear, the vinyl shows few signs of play - an excellent
copy CAS1139)

VIVIAN STANSHALL Men Opening Umbrellas Ahead (Rare
1974 UK 10-track LP, the solo debut by the legendary 'ginger
geezer', which sold so poorly it was swiftly deleted soon after
release, remaining unavailable in any commercial form for
over thirty five years, complete with lyric inner, embossed
picture sleeve. The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear
and the vinyl remains in excellent condition with few signs of
play. A gem that surfaces so rarely on vinyl! K56052)
