16. Nouveau Riffe 3:40 | | VIVIAN STANSHALL Teddy Boys Don't Knit (1981 UK 16-track LP by
the wonderfully demented late & very great Viv, who really should have
been knighted for his services to British Eccentricity, complete with
illustrated lyric inner and picture sleevewith artwork by Viv himself.
Containing the hit single 'Terry Keeps His Clips On', a cautionary tale
based loosely upon his father and the perils of wandering abroad in
Summer with stinging insects lurking ready to pounce upon the
unwary.TheTube is a delightful tune about the joys of parenthood,
Ginger Geezer about his confused teenage years as a posh Ted &
Calypso To Collapso about the mixed benefits of alcohol consumption.
What more could you possibly want from an album ? OK. The sleeve &
vinyl are near mint. Shame on the previous owner, I'd say, but their
loss is your gain CAS1153)
