KALEIDOSCOPE (UK) A Dream For Julie (Very rare 1968 UK 7"
vinyl single, a genuine popsike materpiece from one of the
U.K's greatest psych bands, originally called the Sidekicks
before renaming themselves Kaleidoscope, why they achieved
zero chart success despite massive airplay and their own
superb take on psychedelia is one of that thing we call 'pop's
great mysteries. Backed with the soft focus 'Please Excuse My
Face', taken from their uber-collectable debut long player
[try finding one of those if you can], this is a very tasty, and
seldom seen, '45. Presented in a die cut company sleeve,
aside from a hand written 'P' on side A the vinyl is in Excellent
condition, almost no trace of spindle wear and just a couple of
very minor/faint scuffs - superb! TF895)

'Holidaymaker' on the b-side. This is simply one of the Top 10

KALEIDOSCOPE Tangerine Dream (Extremely Rare 1967 UK
first issue 11-track MONO vinyl LP on the black & silver Fontana label -
Not to be confused with the German electro band, this debut album
from the band who later changed their name to Fairfield Parlour is now
regarded as a classic in the Psychedelic genre, ranking alongside
Nirvana [UK]'s The Story of Simon Simopath and Pink Floyd's The Piper
At The Gates Of Dawn, although it sold very little at the time. This is
the first copy of this legendary Psychedelic gem that we have ever
stocked and it remains in spectacular condition compared to most that
are seen. The non-laminated flipback picture sleeve shows a suitably
groovy image of the band with sleeve notes provided by lead singer

KALEIDOSCOPE White Faced Lady (2009 UK 18-track digitally
remastered CD album - The story of a young British band that went
through many changes and endured lots of adventures typifies the
mood of the late Sixties, when psychedelic rock gripped the world.
Kaleidoscope had released singles and albums, but was then renamed
Fairfield Parlour, to avoid confusion with an American Kaleidoscope.
As Fairfield Parlour, they released an album called 'From Home to
Home' in 1970. This was followed by 'White Faced Lady', an ambitious
rock opera recorded in 1970-71. It was shelved for many years, until
restored under the Kaleidoscope banner and shed new light on the
legendary 'long lost' album. The music goes through many moods
over 16 tracks, until reaching a rousing crescendo in pieces inspired
by the tragic story of Marilyn Monroe. Complete with a picture booklet
containing the original descriptive texts for the music, plus an
exclusive new interview with founder Kaleidoscope / Fairfield Parlour
member Peter Daltrey, complete with authoritative and extensive liner
notes by respected author and journalist Chris Welch)

KALEIDOSCOPE White-Faced Lady (Shelved for over twenty
years, this is the 'Missing' Kaleidoscope album, a Limited
Edition eighteen track double LP featuring orchestral
segments as well as narrative lyrics by Peter Daltrey.
Recorded way back when, the record company refused to
issue this lavish concept piece about 'Angel', so it was left to
the band to finally issue it on their own record label. The
gatefold picture sleeve has the story of 'Angel' written inside
by Peter Daltrey inorder for you to visualise the twists and
turns of the musical perfomances that blend conventional and
ethnic instruments with a full orchestral backing. The cover
displays some minor general wear & the vinyl has little signs
of play KRC001)
