This fan club copy contains the extremely rare 5¾" x 8¼" 66-page promotinal-only Japanese language booklet, entitled 'The Beatles Forever - 20th Anniversary Of Japan Concert' containing the band history, biographies, 'key words', discography of both the band and solo releases and great photographs, including a nice period Japanese advertisment featuring Ringo endorsing Shweppes, all in a colour cover with matching 'It Was 20 Years Ago' logo to the front and with the original EMI questionnaire postcard still inside. Also included is a 9½ x 12½" facimile insert of the legendary January 4-18th 1962 issue of Mersey Beat, proclaiming 'Beatles Top Poll!' THE BEATLES The Beatles Scarves (Rare 1963 UK blue woollen scarf manufactured by Scammonden Woollen Co. Ltd. of Huddersfield in Yorkshire. A very early piece of Beatles memorabilia that had yet to develop into the stylised images that were introduced by US marketing men. This scarf has quite charming facsimile first name signatures and lots of printed beetles rather than Beatles. The scarf itself remains folded as packed, measuring 8½" x 6½" x 1" deep, so is quite substantial. It also retains the original sticker on the scarf and, although the packaging has partially disintegrated over the past fifty years, it also retains the outer sticker seal. The sleeve has some general storage wear with some light discoloration from age, but has no splits and rips, undamaged edges and clearly readable spine. The labels has a few spindle marks to indicate play, whilst the vinyl has a few surface scuffs which are mostly cosmetic and plays without any issues and no major deterioration in sound quality.
