The sleeve on this copy is a litttle battle fatigued, with some marked shelfwear, various points of discolouration & light edge scuffing, but remarkably remains intact & untorn. The vinyl is in glorious condition, however, with just a few light cosmetic surface marks to show for nearly forty years in the wild. PATTO Hold Your Fire (Very Rare 1971 US press Vertigo spiral label promo stereo 8-track LP on the large swirl positioned above the spindle hole and 'Vertigo' logo at the bottom of the label with Promotional Copy Not For Sale credit on the B-side. Internal pasted gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics inside and original 'Recommended Cuts' hype sticker. The sleeve shows some light general ringwear to the panels, a little corner rubbing and edgewwear including the beginnings of some splitting to the top and bottom edges of the back panel, quite typical for a thick card gatefold of this type, age and territory without the support of any laminate or flipbacks, in any case it remains intact and holds its shape well. All text is fully legible and the colours are vivid, the sticker is a great bonus and it comes with a Vertigo swirl inner. PATTO Patto (1971 UK first press 8-track LP on the large Vertigo 'swirl' label, housed in the original fully textured gatefold picture sleeve complete with poly lined 'swirl' inner. This is a rare record & may suit a collector looking to fill a gap in their Vertigo collection at an agreeable price. The cover grades VG+ & shows a bit of edge scuffing with a few small paper chip marks in places but nothing major. The vinyl has been professionally cleaned & play tested & looks sparkling. This particular copy has a pressing flaw which runs 0.5 centimeters from the run-in on Side A. It appears to be an over-heating mark caused during the manufacturing & the vinyl would otherwise grade Excellent. On playback, a faint & quick 'woosh' noise is apparent on rotation during the intro of the album's first song for several bars, with no skips - the noise quickly dies down for the rest of the album to be enjoyed. The inner remains very clean and shows little age, the labels are also clean with minimal spindle marks and the vinyl is graded EX- with some faint hairlines visible unde srtrong light.
