FRANK ZAPPA Incredibly Frank (1982 US limited edition
Picture Disc, featuring two parts of a previously unpublished
forty eight minute interview given on September 13th 1970,
recorded at Zappa's home in Hollywood, California, where he
talks atlength about his early ventures in the record business,
the production techniques employed on the Mothers' Verve
albums & his relationship with the quirky Captain Beefheart.
Zappa's revelations provide a unique insight into this classic
phaseof his career. The front image has a well-known
publicity picture of Zappa pointing his Hagstrom 12-string
towards the camera with the Mothers in the background & the
other side has the young image from Cruising with Ruben &
the Jets surrounded by newspaper clippings about Zappa &
the Mothers. Complete with the stickered PVC, this is now hard
to find! XS-LP-105)

MOTHERS OF INVENTION It Can't Happen Here (Very rare 1966 UK
7" single, the bizarre choice for a debut single by Frank Zappa & The
Mothers, not least because it was on Verve. This scarce stock copy
has its 4-prong centre intact & includes themore single-friendly, How
Could I Be Such A Fool relegated to the b-side, one of Frank's
attempts at a love song! The vinyl reveals a few light hairline scuffs
but these have little effect on play & are nothing to worry about,
complete with its original die-cut company sleeve. A real treat! VS545)

MOTHERS OF INVENTION It Can't Happen Here (Very Rare 1966 UK
'A' label demonstration vinyl 7" for the single release, the bizarre
choice for a debut single by Frank Zappa & The Mothers, not least
because it was on Verve. The four-prong centreis intact & the label
has custom 'Demonstration Record' print & a '11.11.66' release date,
& includes the more single-friendly, How Could I Be Such A Fool
relegated to the B-Bide, one of Frank's attempts at a love song! The
vinyl even comes complete with its original die-cut company sleeve.
This example remains in a really nice example, the A-Side is very
clean with minimal signs of play, and the B-Side has a few cosmetic
surface marks mostly from a light reaction to the plastic sleeve it has
been stored in for many years, however both labels are very clean
with minimal signs of play. We have play tested and this really sounds
fantastic, and is certainly the best example we have ever seen and a
must have for any collection VS545)

excessive wear to the grooves, multiple hairline paper scuffs
& the odd small scratch. Remarkably, both sides of the vinyl
play through without any jumps, pops or distortion & the
clarity of the sound is still something to behold, although
there is some unavoidable light surface noise, which is
minimized once the tracks get going. A real treat & priced
very fairly VS545)
