JIMI HENDRIX Winterland (2011 UK 36-track triple CD set - Drawn from six shows recorded over three days [10-12th October 1968] at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom. These performances celebrated the second anniversary of the Jimi Hendrix Experience and came just as the groundbreaking album Electric Ladyland was released. The bonus disc features extra material from the last night along with an exclusive backstage interview with Jimi at the Boston Garden a few weeks after the Winterland performances. But that is not all, this example includes another bonus disc 'Rare Live CD: San Francisco 1968' featuring five recordings from 4th February 1968; in a glossy hardback bookstyle pack with an integral 36-page booklet with rare photographs & liner notes by David Fricke, the fifth disc in a separate card wallet picture sleeve)
