THE PYRAMID Summer Of Last Year (Rare 1966 UK Deram 'A' label demonstration copy 2-track 7" vinyl single also featuring Summer Evening. This single was notable, not just for the West Coast harmonies from writer Steve Hiett, but also for the bass playing of John Paul Jones & the vocal contributions from Ian MacDonald, soon to change his name to Ian Matthews and join Fairport Convention. Custom 'Demonstration Sample' labels with hand written 'P' on the A-Side and release date and with 4-prong push-out centre intact. The vinyl on this copy is superb with just a couple of very faint scuffs, appears to have been hardly played!
