THE WHO Hooligans (1981 US 19-track double vinyl LP, featuring a unique compilation of material dating from 1965 to 1978 "Hooligans" was released by MCA Records in September 1981, shortly before The Who went on their 1982 North American tour.This double LP compilation was aimed at American audiences and served a dual purpose: To bring together lesser-known UK singles that hadn't been released or widely distributed in the U.S. and to introduce new fans (many of whom had discovered The Who through classic rock radio in the '70s and '80s) to some of the band's non-album work., gatefold picture sleeve with lyric inners. The sleeve shows a visable sticker removal mark and light signs of shelf/agewear and theinners show a couple of small seam splits on each, both vinyl discs remains Excellent showing little evidence of play MCA2-12001)
