Tracklisting: 01. Taxman 02. Eleanor Rigby 03. I'm Only Sleeping 04. Love You To 05. Here, There And Everywhere 06. Yellow Submarine 07. She Said She Said 08. Good Day Sunshine 09. Tomorrow Never Knows With - 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' perimeter & 'Sold In The UK' Label Text. Matrices XEX 605-2 & XEX 606-3 Track four, side two is spelt DR. Robert, both on sleeve and on label. The black and yellow Parlophone labels are in respectable condition with some spindle marks evident. The text is bright and clearly legible with no writing. The vinyl shows a number of surface scuffs & hairlines but these cannot be felt & there is a small amount of radial wear giving this copy a VG/VG- condition grading after a professional clean on a top of the line Matrix machine. Mono playback remains outstanding, especially on a mono setting which eliminates the small amount of surface noise. The original 'Emitex' inner is present & correct. The Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture sleeve benefits from clean, crisp laminate, secure flipbacks & legible spine. There are a couple of small pinch tears in the edges of the cover which do not spoil the artwork or text too much & otherwise a little regular ring wear is present with no writing. A nice Very Good example. By no means mint, this is a fabulous starter copy of this essential mono first pressing & a classic album from start to finish.
