A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

ROLLING STONES Rock 'N' Rolling Stones (1982 Japanese 12-track LP pressed on TRANSLUCENT ORANGE VINYL, picture sleeve complete with fold out discography/lyric insert and Union Jack obi-strip L20P1031)

Tracklisting: 1. Route 66 2. The Under Assistant West Coast Promotion Man 3. Come On 4. Talkin' About You Baby 5. Bye Bye Johnny 6. Down The Road Apiece 7. I Just Wanna Make Love To You 8. Everybody Needs Somebody To Love 9. Oh! Baby (We've Got A Good Thing Goin') 10. 19th Nervous Breakdown 11. Little Queenie 12. Carol
ROLLING STONES The Rolling Stones (Rare original 1964 UK first pressing 12-track mono LP with red unboxed Decca logo label with the long version of 'Tell Me' and I Need You Baby credited as 'Mona', the Matrix reads XARL-6272-7A for side 2 to confirm the pressing version, first variant front laminated flipback picture sleeve with 'Mona' credit and incorrrect 'You Can Make It You Try' spelling LK4605)
See 'More Info' for further details on condition ...

Tracklisting: Side A 1. Route 66 2. I Just Wanna Make Love To You 3. Honest I Do 4. Mona # 5. Now I've Got A Little Witness 6. Little By Little Side B 1. I'm A King Bee 2. Carol 3. Tell Me (2.52 Version) 4. Can I Get Witness 5. You Can Make It You Try* 6. Walking The Dog # On sleeve & label * As printed on the sleeve, correct on the label It is quite fair to say that this copy has been 'well loved' over the last forty five years & looks like it. It went through the Mods, the Blues Revival, the Parties, the Glam era, Punk ... And it looks the part. Visually it exhibits a multitude of surface marks & several light scratches, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Apart from a split on the spint and top edge the sleeve has only minor wear with little discoloration to the non laminated back. This little fella has been around & is proud of it, much like the band themselves! The good news is that the sleeve is complete, untorn & has no writing on it. More good news comes from the brick outhouse vinyl & long pressing times that they used in 1964. The disc plays through without jumping & clicks are kept to a minimum. It actually plays a nice VG- and, although some surface noise is evident, there is very little evidence of the worn out 'burring' so often found at moments of maximum stylus frenzy. It's actually rather nice. This item has obviously been used and enjoyed but the superior pressing from this era holds its sound quality far better than latter era pressings, overall the sound is far better than looking at the actual vinyl might suggest. The music comes through clearly & with the punch that only those ancient quality pressings can give. Labels - The colour of the labels are deep red with bright siver print. The Decca logo is 'unboxed' with 'Made In England By Decca Record Co' & 'Recording First Published...' lettering. The song credit for Honest I Do is Hurran, Calvert, and the mispelt title for You Can Make It If You Try missing the word If out. There are Several marks are evident around the spindle area on either side of the label - This disc was made to be played! Vinyl - The 'Tell Me' track is the longer version. The tracklisting on the reverse of the sleeve & on the label lists Side 1 Track 4 as 'Mona' rather than 'I Need You Baby'. Matrices read: XARL-6271-2A on side 1 and XARL-6272-7A on side 2. Sleeve - The front laminated flipback picture sleeve features the dark moody image that has become iconic. The colours are still unfaded &, although creased a bit at the corners, the sleeve retains its feel & the focus of the picture is preserved. The unlaminated back has yellowed with age, as would be expected with no rips, tears or writing. A respectable copy of this hard to find item at a bargain price !
KATE BUSH Kate Bush Tour (Rare original 1979 UK tour merchandise cream-coloured cotton sweatshirt featuring a circular 'Kate Bush Tour' lion's head picture logo on the left breast and a larger version of the same image on the back. The sweatshirt has just a little minor discolouration, but the logos still remain clear and bright 35 years on - a great piece of vintage Kate Bush merchandise. Size - small/34" chest)
BOB DYLAN Rita May (Rare withdrawn 1976 UK solid centre 7" vinyl single with deletion drill hole, also featuring Stuck Inside Of Mobile With The Memphis Blues Again, CBS company die cut paper sleeve. This issue has the A & B side REVERSED & was actually commercially released with Rita May as the B-Side! SCBS4859)
