A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

BRIAN AUGER, JULIE DRISCOLL & THE TRINITY Open (Rare 1967 UK 10-track stereo LP on Marmalade, a great record that managed to join the dots between Mod R&B, Folk & Pop, including their interpretations of Donovan's 'Season Of The Witch' & LowellFulson's 'Tramp', superb bluesy Hammond organ licks married to Driscoll's hippie Dusty Springfield-esque vocals. The matt picture sleeve shows just mild signs of its age with a little scuffing & the vinyl remains in VG+/EX- condition with a few light hairline scuffs which have little to no effect on play. Recommended)

Tracklisting: 01. In & Out 02. Isola Natale 03. Black Cat 04. Lament For Miss Baker 05. Goodbye Jungle Telegraph 06. Tramp 07. Why (Am I Treated So Bad) 08. A Kind Of Love-In 09. Break It Up 10. Season Of The Witch
LONESOME SUNDOWN Lonesome Lonely Blues (1970 UK Blue Horizon 12-track mono LP of intoxicating doom-like Blues from a Louisiana legend, gathering recordings from various unknown dates from 1958 to '65 for inclusion in Mike Leadbitter's Post-WarMasters series. The sleeve looks a little worldly wise with some minor scuffing or ring wear largely due to its matt finish, but with all text legible. The vinyl is clean & sounds immense. Visually there is a curious mottling effect both sides that is primarily cosmetic. This is not reaction to a poly inner, as it never had one. Playback is unaffected & the disc could otherwise be classed as Excellent to near mint. Highly recommended & the first we've seen)

Tracklisting: A1 Love Me Now 3:00 A2 Learn To Treat Me Better 2:02 A3 Lonesome Lonely Blues 2:50 A4 Do What You Did 2:15 A5 I'm Glad She's Mine 2:00 A6 I Woke Up Cryin' 2:54 B1 Please Be On That 519 3:10 B2 I Had A Dream Last Night 2:25 B3 If You See My Baby 2:28 B4 Hoo Doo Woman Blues 2:46 B5 When I Had I Didn't Need 2:16 B6 I'm A Mojo Man 2:20
GENESIS The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (Scarce 1977 23-track Japanese Charisma label issue of the 1974 double LP, gatefold picture sleeve with inner sleeves and four sided info/lyric insert plus 'Rock Company 77 Professional Collection' greenand orange obi-strip. The sleeve has little in the way of shelfwear whilst the vinyl appears unplayed SFX-10022~3)
