FLETCHER HENDERSON A Study In Frustration - The Fletcher Henderson Story (Original 1961 set of all four mono LP volumes in the series on rough textured orange labels, a collection of sixty-four tracks by the influential Jazz leader, whohad to wait in the wings while Benny Goodman's recordings of his compositions & arrangements sold in their thousands. This four LP collection spans the years 1924 to 1938, from the end of the 'Flapper' period to the big dance band era. Each LP comes with a fold out libretto [except for Volume 3] with notes by Frank Driggs & each LP is housed in its own front laminated flipback picture sleeve. The sleeves show just a little light shelfwear with one small annotation & one small shop sticker to the backs of a few & each vinyl discs is Excellent with little sign of play. A fantastic set & a comprehensive collection of one of the lesser sung Jazz greats BPG62001/2/3/4)

The poster has been stored folded in the sleeve & shows only light signs of age. A superb complete copy of thishard-to-find pressing)
