JOHN MAYALL & THE BLUESBREAKERS John Mayall Plays John
Mayall - Recorded Live At Klooks Kleek (1967 UK first press
12-track deep groove mono LP on the unboxed Decca label,
recorded live in Hampstead, London on December 7 1964,
front laminatedpicture sleeve with album notes from Alexis
Korner. The cover [VG] has some minor ring wear with a
degree of light smokiness to the back panel as evidence of
having lived the sixties [reissue this ain't!], with all print
legible & just a couple of small asterisks by the tracklist. The
surface of the vinyl is Excellent & we have professionally
cleaned both sides for great sound. There is a fair amount of
spindle marks by the centre hole to show repeat play & the
odd paper hairline scuff but very little lessening in sound
quality. A Very Good example LK4680)

JOHN MAYALL With ERIC CLAPTON Blues Breakers (1966 UK

unboxed Decca label with bracketed upside down matrices
above the catalogue number on the labels & 1966 at the
bottom, front laminated 'Beano' sleeve without the mono /
stereo die-cut indicator on the back. The sleeve on this copy
is graded VG with a handwritten '2' to the unlaminated
reverse and general wear/discolouration, mainly to the
edges, whilst the vinyl is gradedVG as there is some visible
spindlewear and some scuffs and faint hairlines. By no means
mint, this is a respectable copy of the classic, thanks to the
quality of sixties vinyl, the condition is purely a cosmetic
issue. Recommended! LK4804)

JOHN MAYALL Blues From Laurel Canyon (1968 UK first issue
12-track MONO vinyl LP, the first album from Mayall after the
break up of The Bluesbreakers, featuring the talents of a
young Mick Taylor and the legendary Peter Green as a guest,
frontlaminated gatefold picture sleeve. Aside from a minor
laminate imperfection to the reverse of the sleeve [most
likely a result of the manufacturing process], the sleeve is
superb, with clear, vivid colours, virtually no edgewear and a
wonderfullystrong spine. The vinyl remains in Excellent
condition with some spindle wear evident but little evidence
of play - a top copy that is much rarer than its stereo
counterpart! LK4972)

with, this heavyweight R&B groover marks the very beginning of John
and his magnificent Bluesbreakers' career with aBANG. Backed with
the raw blues-er, Mr. James. The viny lwith intact 4-prong centre is VG

test play, we found there was a little background crackle, though no
loud popping or skips to be found - An absolute Mod must-have!
