STEPPENWOLF Steppenwolf (Limited Edition 2013 US audiophile issue of the group's debut 1968 11-track stereo LP pressed on 200gram Vinyl. Includes the classic 'Born To Be Wild', which coined the name for an entire genre with the line "heavy metal thunder". Other highlights include a heavy version of Hootchie Kootchie Man & a pounding tour-de-force cover of Hoyt Axton's anti-drug, 'The Pusher'. Comes housed in a deluxe version of the pasted picture sleeve with silver foil effect. The sleeve & vinyl are Near Mint APP-50029)
