A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

MICHAEL JACKSON Off The Wall (1979 Japanese promo stamped 7" vinyl single, also including Get On The Floor, unique Japanese-only 'Suzuki Love' picture insert, showing Michael standing next to a Suzuki Scooter on a building rooftop with Japanese text biography and English lyrics printed on the reverse. The insert displays minimal wear and the vinyl looks barely played 06.5P-94)

Tracklisting: 1. Off The Wall 3:50 2. Get On The Floor 4:40
LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin II (Yet another odd find from Atlantic records & Zeppelin. This rare 1969 UK 9-track vinyl LP has the second issue plum & red Atlantic label which lists The Lemon Song on both sleeve & labels where later issues list it as Killing Floor, and has the corrected Livin' Lovin' Maid. However, this example has the hand scratched matrices '588-198-A' and '588-198-B' with the second number 8 crossed out and re-etched above, the second issue had stamped matrix details, housed in a light brown gatefold picture sleeve)
See'More Info' for further details...

Tracklisting: More Information This was the second studio album, released on the 22nd October 1969. The first issue label features 'The Lemon Song' title but following a claim of plagiarism levelled at Led Zeppelin [shock, horror!], this song had to be renamed to 'Killing Floor' and credited to Chester Burnett. The Polydor press sleeves are also a lighter brown in colour. The sleeve also credits 'The Lemon Song' and this was not changed for later issues. The labels still list 'Copyright Control' publishing credits and have 'Produced by Jimmy Page' under the titles. The second issue has corrected the 'Livin' Lovin' Wreck' error of the first issue and now reads 'Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman)', which is still wrong and was further corrected with the third Polydor imprint. 'Thank You' is still one word, which was also corrected with the third imprint. The Side Two composer credits for Heartbreaker & Moby Dick still list 'Jones' rather than 'Baldwin'. This second issue should have the matrix details stamped, rather than scratched, however as mentioned about this example still has them scratched. Another thing to point out, the labels have two rings visible, the same as the first issue and were not present on the second pressing. Condition The sleeves for the early issues are known for being easily damaged. This copy shows only a little light shelfwear with minor edge & corner scuffing. The labels have a few marks around the spindle hole, to show it has been played a few times, but nothing too excessive. The vinyl is Excelleny with a few light signs of play, and just a few light cosmetic marks A wonderful copy of this forty five year old classic. Tracklisting 01. Whole Lotta Love 02. What Is & What Should Never Be 03. The Lemon Song 04. Thankyou 05. Heartbreaker 06. Livin' Lovin' Maid (She's A Woman) 07. Ramble On 08. Moby Dick 09. Bring It On Home
DAVID BOWIE The World Of (1970 UK 14-track stereo LP on the turquoise & silver Decca boxed logo label, housed in the original front laminated 'curly hair' picture sleeve with die-cut blue-for-stereo inner. The sleeve shows some minor spine wearand has a little discolouration on the reverse, whilst the vinyl has a few light surface scuffs. An excellent example - worth it alone for this sleeve variant SPA58)
FAIRPORT CONVENTION Liege & Lief (1970 UK issue of the classic 1969 8-track LP on the pink rim 'palm tree' label with Witchseason logo, gatefold picture sleeve. The sleeve is Excellent with some minor age wear & the vinyl remains in Excellentcondition despite some faint cosmetic signs of play - A nice, if not mint, example of this Fairport masterpiece ILPS9115)

Tracklisting: 1. Come All Ye 2. Reynardine 3. Matty Groves 4. Farewell, Farewell 5. The Deserter 6. Medley:The Lark In The Morning / Rakish Paddy / Foxhunter's Jig / Toss The Feathers 7. Tam Lin 8. Crazy Man Michael
