WILLIAM ONYEABOR Atomic Bomb (Original 1978 Nigerian Afro Synth 5-track private press LP by the Nigerian funk musician/businessman, released on William's own Wilfilms Records label. Onyeabor was re-discovered in recent years, first by TalkingHeads' David Byrne for a compilation on his Luaka Bop label, there was also a wonderful Noisey/Vice magazine documentary & even an interview with Lauren Laverne for BBC Six Music, recorded a few years before he passed away, where he stated "Ionlycreate music that will help the world"! This record is definitely the bomb & includes the mini-funk epic 'Better Change Your Mind' [think early Money Mark, made 15 years earlier!]. Comes housed in the original silk picture sleeve with original inner. This record was bought from new in the UK at the time, so remains in beautiful condition [hard to find above a G grade!]. Both the sleeve & vinyl are Excellent, with some faint ring wear scuffing & a deep sheen both sides with very minor signs of use only, havign play tested the record the disc plays through fabulously with no interruption to play sounding crisp and clear, a lovely example and a great find! WRLP1002)

Tracklisting: Time: 15:40 A1 Beautiful Baby A2 Better Change Your Mind Time: 18:15 B1 Atomic Bomb B2 Shame B3 I Need You All Life
CREAM Fresh Cream (Rare 1966 1st issue German 12-track stereo LP on the orange/red Polydor label. The vinyl on this classic debut album is in immaculate mint condition. Housed in the original fully laminated picture sleeve. See 'More info' forfurther details...)

Tracklisting: Fresh Cream was Cream's debut and the first of their three consecutive fantastic albums made while they were together. Although this is clearly their best blues statement with covers of Willie Dixon's 'Spoonful' and their cover of Muddy Waters classic 'Rollin' And Tumblin'. The album also points to the excellent songwriting of Disraeli Gears and the extensive jamming featured on Wheels Of Fire. Jack Bruce's collection of originals here are among the best he'd pen for the band whether it was the blues of 'Sleepy Time Time', the excellent 'Dreaming' or the short jamming 'N.S.U.', which would lead to the improvisation of their live shows exhibited on Wheels Of Fire and their live albums. Bruce's bass playing is also very innovative throughout the album and he plays a mean harmonica on 'Cat's Squirrel' and 'Rollin' And Tumblin.' Ginger Baker's drumming is very powerful and innovative throughout, particularly on his compositions 'Toad' and the excellent 'Sweet Wine.' Clapton didn't write any tracks here, however his playing is outstanding, particularly on 'Spoonful' and the Skip James tune 'I'm So Glad.' The band's performances of the cover tunes are very powerful with Jack Bruce truly making 'Spoonful' his own with his excellent vocal performance. Simply a stunning debut from one of the best bands from the '60s. Highly recommended. The labels are as clean as the day they were printed, with only one spindle mark on each side which is only visible in the right light. The sleeve does have some laminate lift along the spine, some minor scuffing along the bottom edge, and the white rear of the sleeve has slightly lost some colour over the years. The vinyl itself has retain a 'just pressed' sheen for over fifty years out in the wild, and is free of any marks or scuffs. Although it has been played, it has been handled with care and is a gloriouos one-owner copy. Overall we have strictly graded this as excellent condition, and it is only the third copy of this German pressing we have seen in over thirty years. Tracklisting :- 1. NSU 2. Sleepy Time Time 3. Dreaming 4. Sweet Wine 5. Spoonful 6. Wrapping Paper 7. Cat's Squirrel 8. Four Until Late 9. The Coffee Song 10. Rollin' & Tumblin' 11. I'm So Glad
