 | MILES DAVIS In A Silent Way (1969 UK first press stereo LP
on the smooth & plain orange label, produced by Teo Marceo
& starring a fittingly stunning array of musicians including
Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter, Dave Holland,
Joe Zawinul, John McLaughlin & Tony Williams. Housed in a
front laminated picture sleeve with the back featuring Miles
looking about as cool as can be. The sleeve shows some light
edgewear/discolouration to back with light ringwear/corner
creases but this does not affect any images or text; whilst the
vinyl appears barely played)
Tracklisting: Shhh/ Peacful
In A Silent Way/ It's About That Time |
 | THE BEATLES Strawberry Fields Forever (1967 UK solid centre 7"
vinyl single, with 'Gramophone Co' & 'Sold In The UK' label text, also
including Penny Lane, complete with the rare flipback paper picture
sleeve. The thin paper sleeve is in wonderful Excellent condition with
only a little natural foxing due to the nature of the white sleeve,
otherwise remains unsplit & un-torn. The vinyl is equally triumphant
with just a couple of light spindle marks around the centre hole to
indicate play. A very nice complete copy of this Fabs essential R5570) |
 | DAVID BOWIE Station To Station (2021 UK/EU special limited
edition 6-track LP to celebrate the 45th Anniversary
of Bowie's tenth studio album, originally released in January
1976. Issued as a retail only exclusive format on
random red or white vinyl, inside a reproduction of the
original picture sleeve with replica date-coded inner and
insert. This example is Red
Vinyl - the shrink has been opened along one
edge to verify the colou #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Timer of the record inside but remains
fully intact, complete with its circular red hype sticker)
Tracklisting: Originally released 23rd January 1976, Station To Station was David Bowie's tenth studio album. To celebrate its 45th anniversary Parlophone is proud to announce a special limited edition 'bricks & mortar' only red & white vinyl pressing of the album.
45 years on from its release 'Station To Station' is now seen as a musical bridge between the 'plastic soul' of 1975's 'Young Americans' and the experimental beginning of Bowie's Berlin era that was 1977's 'Low'.
The album's first single 'Golden Years' was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic and one of five singles released from the six-song album (though the title track was only released on 45 in France and 'Stay' was a single exclusively in the USA).
