A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

ERIC CLAPTON Unplugged (2023 US limited edition 14-track 2-LP pressed on 180-gram black vinyl, the number one album from 1992 which garnered six Grammy Awards, presented in full on two records. Recorded at Bray Studios, England in front of anaudience for the MTV Unplugged television series, including the beautiful Tears In Heaven and the classic Layla. Gatefold picture sleeve with gold hype sticker, factory sealed)
The best selling live album of all-time!

Tracklisting: This live performance recorded on January 16th, 1992, in front of 300 music fans gathered at Bray Studios, near Windsor, made music history. There on Soundstage 1, MTV filmed the opening episode of Unplugged's third season. It turned out to be some of the finest music ever recorded by Eric Clapton. Backed by a more than capable backing group (featuring Nathan East on bass and the legendary Andy Fairweather-Low, formerly in Amen Corner, on rhythm guitar) the album, which is a mixture of blues covers and acoustic remakes of his own songs, highlights the best of a mixed career. Top tracks include yet another version of the Bo Diddley classic "Before You Accuse Me" an improvement over the electric cover with Robert Cray of the Journeyman album, "Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out" from the seminal Layla album and a fun version of the blues standard "San Francisco Bay Blues." Clapton's tour-de-force, "Layla," is given a bluesy laidback feel that really makes this classic equally good if not better that the original. Top all this with a few more blues standards and the fact that it's pressed on 180-gram vinyl and you've got a great package. Clapton's bestselling album — and the bestselling live album of all time — with more than 26 million copies sold worldwide, Unplugged was awarded Album of the Year at the 35th Annual Grammy Awards, with Clapton also winning Best Rock Vocal Performance — Male (Unplugged) and Best Rock Song ("Layla"). Side One 1. Signe 2. Before You Accuse Me 3. Hey Hey 4. Tears in Heaven Side Two 5. Lonely Stranger 6. Nobody Knows You When You're Down & Out 7. Layla 8. Running on Faith Side Three 9. Walkin' Blues 10. Alberta 11. San Francisco Bay Blues Side Four 12. Malted Milk 13. Old Love 14. Rollin' & Tumblin'
WINGS Back To The Egg (1979 Japanese 14-track LP, housed in a deluxe picture sleeve with die-cut inner, fold-out Japanese / lyric insert & wide obi-strip. The sleeve & obi displays only light general wear, and the vinyl has minimal signs of play EPS-81200)

Tracklisting: 1. Reception 2. Getting Closer 3. We're Open Tonight 4. Spin It On 5. Again And Again And Again 6. Old Siam, Sir 7. Arrow Through Me 8. Rockestra Theme 9. To You 10. After The Ball/Million Miles 11. Winter Rose/Love Awake 12. The Broadcast 13. So Glad To See You Here 14. Baby's Request
TOM WAITS Bone Machine (Original 1992 UK first press 16-track LP, including numbers like Earth Died Screaming, Dirt In The Ground, All Stripped Down & Murder In The Red Barn, this was Wait's first album of the nineties, earning a Grammy Awardfor best alternative record that year. Expect creepy, bare-bones production throughout, recorded in a room in the cellar area of prairie Sun Recording studios north of San Francisco [described by Waits as "just a cement floor & a hot water heater"], with steampunk-sounds, industrial thuds & skeletal rhythms [some tracks ended up being used in films such as 12 Monkeys & Fight Club!]... an intense listen & a standout in the Waits back catalogue. Complete with the lyric inner, the picture sleeve shows very little of its age & the vinyl is Excellent to Near Mint revealing merely a few paper scuffs; mostly to Side A, not affecting play however. A nice one owner copy bought from new ILPS9993)
