36-track Eight hybrid Super Audio SA-CD box set,
playable on all SACD & CD players. Featuring the classic
recordings made over 22nd & 23rd December 1965 with
Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter & Tony Williams.
The analog masters remixed from the original 3-track
masters for the 1995 Mosaic Records 10 x LP box set were
used. The DSD layer features a 192kHz/24bittransfer of the
US analog source. The CD layer features a new mastering for
this edition. This is the first complete edition to receive a
domestic issue in Japan. The disc's are in seven jewel cases
(December 22 Second Set split across two discs), with a
sixteen page reproduction of the original 1995 US booklet,
and forty-eight page booklet with a Japanese translation of
the original booklet, CD inlay liner notes and a 2023 set of
notes also in Japanese, in a hard slipcase with the
all-important exclusive obi-strip. This remains
