THEM The 'Angry' Young Them (Debut 1965 UK first press 14-track deep groove mono LP on the red unboxed Decca label, including the growling R&B classics 'Gloria', 'Don't Look Back' & 'Bright Lights Big City' by Van the Man & co! This is a 'well loved' example to say the least. The cover has multiple crease marks & was already a delicate design, grading Good at best with additional ring wear & discolouring on the back panel ['15/-' price annotation to back corner]. It remains intact with no seam splits & the artwork is vivid through the creases, despite a small faded corner, with all text legible, including the spine, album notes & 'James Upton' printing credit. The heavyweight vinyl has a deep sheen both sides & plays to an Excellent standard on a mono setting, with minimal background surface in the quieter sections. We would grade the vinyl VG+ due to spindle marks around the centre hole & a few hairlines not upsetting play.
