centred 7" vinyl single with 'Sample Record' sticker and
release date of '10 NOV' on the label, also including the non-lp
track Hold On, Polydor company die-cut paper sleeve.
Released justafter What A Bunch Of Sweeties, this was the
only Fairies recording to feature Mick Wayne, the
replacement for Paul Rudolph, who was in turn replaced by
Larry Wallis before the band recorded their next album, Kings
Of Oblivion)

released in 1971 on Polydor, the 'Fairies were part of the Notting Hill
scene which spawned the [Social] Deviants, and displayed an
irreverently psychedelic attitude, with a healthy disregard for authority
and subsequently were very influential on the punk scene a few years
down the line [drummer Twink even fronted his own punk band, The
Rings!], superbly presented in a laminated fold-over card sleeve with
laminated insert, housed in custom screen-printed PVC hype-stickered

vinyl LP featuring 7 tracks of furious, adrenalized gut bucket rock 'n'
roll from the darlings of Ladbroke Grove, originally released in 1973
and said to have anticipated the rise of punk rock, housed in a great
'flying pig' picture sleeve complete with lyric insert and '¥2,300' pink &
blue obi-strip. The obi on this copy has been repaired with some clear
tape at the top but is otherwise in superb condition, thesleeve has very little signs of age & the vinyl is immaculate 23MM0131)
