THE MILLENNIUM Begin (2008 US exclusive limited edition
14-track LP pressed on High Definition 180gram VIRGIN
VINYL - in 1968, legendary producer Curt Boettcher assembled a
group of talented California singers and musicians [including
singer/guitarists Lee Mallory, Sandy Salisbury, Joey Stec and Michael
Fennelly, drummer Ron Edgar & keyboard player Doug Rhodes, the
latter from the original Music Machine line-up] to record the
Millennium's sole album, 'Begin'. Produced byBoettcher and Keith
Olsen [also an ex-Music Machine player], with assistance by California
rock legend Gary Usher, the album is an exquisite progressive pop
opus, combining breezy melodies, ambitious baroque arrangements,
stirring psychedelic touches and angelic vocal harmonies to create a
suite-like concept album that perfectly captures the optimistic mood of
the time in which it was made; presented in sealed & stickered matt
card sleeve)

THE MILLENNIUM Voices Of The Millennium (2003 UK 11-track LP
pressed on 180gram VIRGIN VINYL - in 1969, whilst
launching the ill-fated Together Records, and preparing the recording
of the second Sagittarius album 'The Blue Marble', Gary Usher and the
members of The Millennium engaged in a non-stop schedule of
rehearsals, writing and demo-ing for their various projects: Sandy
Salisbury as a solo pop star, the powerpop group Big Shot to be
fronted by Michael Fennelly, and a wholelot of other dreams and
schemes, for which elaborate demos were created. 'Voices Of The
Millennium' consists of the long lost demos for 'The Blue Marble',
featuring radically different versions of the album's songs, and some
not used after all, sung by guest vocalists Sandy, Lee, and Curt of the
Millennium, and Surf Music stalwart Chuck Girard, a rare glimpse into
the work in progress of some of the legends of California Soft-Pop.
Presented in sealed & stickered picture sleeve)
