the very first pressings, with 'Emitex' inner in front laminated flipback
picture sleeve. What is extremely unusualabout this copy is that the
Side Two matrix, which is normally also -1, in this case is XEX580-4.

vinyl LP with 'The Gramophone Co' and 'Sold In The UK' label text.
The Side One matrix is XEX 579-1, confirming that this is the rare
LOUD CUT variant, front laminated flipback picture sleeve.
The sleeve shows some general edgwear and creasing, as well as
some light foxing marks to the back but is still in Very Good condition
for its many years. The vinyl grades Good, as there are some notable
surface hairlines and a deeper hairline mark on side 2, however
through play only a slight pop can be heard on the track 'Girl', as well
as some light crackle. A rare and lesser seen variant of this acclaimed
60s classic! PMC1267)

variant 14-track mono LP with side one matrix XEX 579-1 & 'The
Gramophone Co' & 'Sold in the UK' label text & 'KT' tax code clearly
visible, complete with 'Emitex' inner. This example has a 'Factory
Sample' sticker attached to the Side 1 label. The G&L front
laminated flipback picture sleeve has crisp, clean laminate with one
small light crease at the top, and has secure flipbacks, perfect spine,
vibrant colours & no discolouration with a number '26' written on the
back. The labels have a few light spindle marks, whilst the vinyl
remains really nice with just the odd very light cosmetic mark. An
outstanding example and the first factory sample copy we have ever

pressing with matrices XEX 579/580-1 - yes, the legendary 'LOUD
CUT'! Housed in a Garrod & Lofthouse front laminated flipback picture
sleeve including original lined 'Emitex' inner. From the vast personal
archive of a former music reviewer and journalist, this copy has a
'Factory Sample NotFor Sale' sticker on the Side Two label and has
been carefully stored away for more than 30 years. The sleeve
remains in superb condition with bright, clean laminate, secure
flipbacks, perfect spine, vibrant colours and no discolouration. The vinyl
looks unplayed retaining an incredible 'just pressed' lustre;
the labels are free from spindle marks with the 'KT' tax code clearly
visible. A jaw-dropping copy of this sought after pressing - you'll

'Factory Sample' stickered Side Two label, front laminated flipback
picture sleeve. The vinyl on this copy remains in VG-/VG condition,
with a few obvious surface scuffs and hairlines, although it plays
through without fault. The sleeve is of comparable condition, with just
a little light laminate creasing evident, a little damage to the end of
the bottom flipback & the back remaining still white & near 'as new'. A
very acceptable copy of this rare Factory Sample issue at a seriously

Odeon issue 14-track Stereo LP pressed on EverClean RED VINYL. The vinyl is in
excellent condition on a clean black & silver Odeon Records label.
The laminated scalloped flipback picture sleeve has deep rich
colours and a bright white back, clearly readable pinched spine,
and has a minor crease across the top right corner, includes the
lyric insert and original advert inner with its top flap intact. An
extremely nice example and hard-to-find in this condition.
