THE BEATLES Portrait Poster (1964 UK 98cm X 138cm poster featuring a great early full-length shot of the Fab Four in their trademark collarless jackets with facimile autographs along the bottom and 'printed in England' in the border along the bottom. This item is printed on great thick matt paper stock of the era and has been stored folded. The original owners name is written on the back and although there is evidence of it having been hung, with pin holes and tape at the corners and middle, it still holds up very well for its nearly sixty years, with just small splits creeping in to the extremities of the folds, with no major tears of discolouration. THE BEATLES Proof Artwork Plates For The Margo Of Mayfair Talc Tin (Amazing and quite possibly unique pair of 1963 UK 5½" by 6" metal plates that feature the artwork for both sides of the legendary 'With the Beatles' talc tin. If you look at the edges you can still see the cutting marks visible, so it can only be assumed that these were effective 'proofs' for the artwork used. Printed onto flat metal of the type used for the tin, it is quite obvious that these have never been rolled into the elliptical shape of the finished tin but started off and have remained flat for over fifty years. These were retrieved from the factory for a Beatle fan relative by an unknown factory worker and have remained pristine ever since, free from rust or scratches and with just a little wear to the image top caused by the initial cutting process in 1963.
