This was manufactured for Jukebox use with a solid center and small spindle hole, the Capitol label has the rainbow rim design with 'MFD BY CAPITOL RECORDS INC U. S. A.' and 'T.M. MARCA REG U.S. PAT. Apart from a tiny ink stain to the bottom corners and a name written inside the front cover, this remains nearly as it did over fifty years ago when it was issued. This was the very first year that The Beatles played The Cavern and long before Cavern Club membership was common and queues stretched around the block to see the band. In fact, for their first gig at lunchtime on February 9th that year, for which they were paid £5, the seventeen year old George Harrison was nearly refused admission as he was wearing Jeans. THE BEATLES Metal Tray (Rare original official metal track measuring approximately 13" x 13" manufactured in the UK by Worcester Ware circa 1965, features a white background with full colour images of the Fab Four with facsimile signatures. On the back these is some residue where the original sticker should be, although missing this determins that this is an original and not a reproduction.
