ROY HARPER Laughing Inside (Are you sitting comfortably,
then I shall begin. In 1988 Roy Harper released the album,
Descendants of Smith, at that time he wasn't happy with the
music industry. As a publicity stunt he released the single,
Laughing Inside, under three pseudonyms, each an anagrams of
his own name [Per Yarroh, Rory Phare & Harry Rope]. This set
features a copy of each of the single released under the
pseudonym, each in their picture sleeve featuring different
artwork, along with retro style labels. We are also including the
single that was release under his own name. The sleeves each

ROY HARPER Sophisticated Beggar (Rare as rocking horse
AUTOGRAPHED 1966 first UK issue 13-track debut
mono LP, recorded under primitive circumstances for the tiny Strike
label, who operated out of a flat off London's Edgware Road& were
prone to recording in converted garage spaces, this album was not
distributed well on initial release & sold very little. Now extremely hard
to find [this is the first & only copy we have to offer], it is now
considered a prime exampleof British Acid Folk, Psych Folk or Wyrd Folk
as a whole & a must for the Harper fan. Guest stars a young Ritchie
Blackmore on the closing track. The laminated sleeve is
signed by Roy on the front in black biro & even comes
complete with a wraparound proof sleeve of the album's artwork, the
latter virtually impossible to find. See 'more info'... JHL105)

1971 first Japanese issue 4-track LP, with custom black on

lightest few storage scuffs & all text legible. The vinyl
