PINK FLOYD It Would Be So Nice (Extremely rare 1968 UK Columbia
'A' label demonstration one-sided vinyl 7" with intact 4-prong centre
for the single release, red die-cut Columbia company sleeve. The label
has 'Demonstration Record Not For Sale' printed on one side and is
dated 19.4.68, the flip side label is plain white. Stock copies of Pink
Floyd's fourth single [their first release without founder member Syd
Barrett] are rare, this one-sided demo issue is rarer still, pressed in
tiny quantities and sent out for review or radio play ahead of release,
needless to say, they don't turn up for sale very often! The vinyl on
this copy is graded VG-/VG with some noticeable scuffs/hairlines,
playtesting reveals a little background noise in the quiet intro but
otherwise plays well. This is the first copy we've ever had the pleasure
to offer for sale in over thirty years trading - highly recommended

PINK FLOYD Not Now John (Super Rare & Very Cool 1983
Japanese promotional-only wide centred vinyl 7" for
the single, also featuring the album b-side, Your Possible Pasts -
this b-side was replaced with The Hero's Return Parts I + II
forthe stock release. The labels are custom rubber stamped black
on white with additional red highlighted Japanese text listing the
track lengths. What makes this very desirable is the unique
double-sided cover, essentially two sheets of paper pasted to a
CBS/Sony company sleeve, in blood splattered red with 'The
Final Cut' advertisement & exclusive Japanese text. It looks like
something out of a Beat Takeshi yakuza movie! The sleeve has
some black tape down the right edge and a small number written
on the front, otherwise displays just light wear, whilst the vinyl is
VG+/EX- with some light surface scuffs. This example comes
with a rare original three page press release about the Final Cut
album with all text in Japanese XDSP93036)

PINK FLOYD Free Four (Extremely rare and until now, the ONLY COPY
we have acquired in thirty five years... this 1972 Odeon Label
Japanese "Special Promotional-Only" vinyl 7" is one of the
rarest Pink Floyd 45s produced in Japan. With Absolutely Curtains on
the b-side. The Odeon labels are custom black on white with
'Promotional Copy For DJ Use Only' print to the right, manufactured by
Toshiba Musical Industries Ltd and this example is complete with a
stunning & unique flipback picture sleeve with all-over silk finish. The
sleeve appears Excellent - on close inspection, there are some very
faint crease marks with age and the occasional small cosmetic tape
mark on the back. A natural spot of colour fade is noticeable along the
spine and top edge of no concern but there are no tears or writing.
This is simply a stunning example and an amazing find. Better still, the
labels appear Mint and the vinyl is Near Mint with an incredible deep
sheen both sides with only the very lightest few signs of play. To say
this is "hard to find" is a understatement and is nothing short of a
crown jewel in any serious PF collection! 4RS-322)
