MARC BOLAN The Warlock Of Love (Rare enough on its own, this
original 1969 UK 66-page hardback copy of Marc's poetry book has
been nicely AUTOGRAPHED & dedicated just inside the cover
'To Maldwin, Gypsy Horsebane Of The Mountains, Hound Master -
Deep Love, Marc' in red marker pen, complete with nice cosmic
doodle. It looks like Marc added 'Gypsy Horsebane' as an afterthought
[you tell me!] but it reads as described above. The book has obviously
been well loved & shows a fair bit of wear to the edges & spine but
both the spine & all pages are intact & untorn, just a little yellowed
with age. What is really nice about this is that it also has the address &
telephone number of Marc & June's Blenheim Crescent & Clarendon
Gardens flats inside opposite the dedication, so was obviously once
the possession of a close friend. You will know that the Blenheim
Crescent flat was where Marc & Steve Took first started working on
what was to become Tyrannosaurus Rex - The rest is history. So is
this) Considering that this survived from the very early days of
the UK underground, actually IN Ladbroke Grove, it's a
miracle item!
