PINK FLOYD / VARIOUS Garden Party At The Crystal Palace Bowl (Rare 1971 UK 12-page programme for the event on Saturday 15th may that year. The event was headlined by Pink Floyd, with Faces, Mountain and Quiver all taking part, with compare Pete Drummond. Features black & white photos of each band with the centre spread featuring Floyd with the running order, and adverts for each artist with one for their Relics album. The Floyd used a Quadraphonic sound system, with speakers positioned at various points in the grounds, so the audience was treated to good sound. The finale of the concert featured orange smoke bombs, fireworks and a giant rubber octopus which shared the pool. Not a bad line-up for your £1.25 on the day! We are grading this example as Very Good, with a large split and small tear along the spine, but being made of paper and fifty years old, we are surprised it survived especially as the wear turned to rain just as Floyd started their set. But that is not all, this also includes a ticket stub for the event)
