GRATEFUL DEAD Workingman's Dead (Mega Rare 1971 Japanese promotional sample 8-track LP pressed on 'Everclean' Red Vinyl, with custom black & white labels. This album was released at a transitional period for the record company at the time the Warner Brothers catalog was being acquired or merging with Pioneer in Japan. Although there is a black vinyl pressing, this edition was never officially released on red wax, making this a very hard pressingto find. Comes housed in a unique pasted picture sleeve with the back print upside down & with an envelope style die-cut inner. This collector's copy also includes the fold-out lyric insert & obi-strip, which we've never seen before. The sleeve is Excellent with some minor wear - the obi is in poor condition with a 2" split in the bottom & a 2cm horizontal tear on the front & a few crease marks with age but remains fully intact, completing a very rare package.
