THE BEATLES With The Beatles (Rare 1963 South African 14-track mono LP on the black & silver Parlophone label, a similar design to the old black & gold label. The sleeve is a variation of the familiar front laminated rounded corner flipback design, but with pinched spine & printed by Swan Press. Both sleeve & labels have the 'Gotta' misprint & the credit for 'Money' lists 'Belinda' PMCJ1206)

Condition
The back shows just a little discolouration, with some laminate lift to the spine and some very light general scuffing to the edges and a little light creasing to the laminate. There is a small tear on the back at the spine, but both flips are secure & the pinched spine is easily readable.

The labels are an alternate silver on black design, similar to the UK black & gold label, with extra 'Non-Breakable' text, 'Recording First Published' & 'Pressed in S.A. under directions of the Parlophone Co. Ltd' at the bottom. There are a few light marks around the spindle hold to show it has been played a few time.

The heavyweight vinyl is in good condition, with a lot of noticeable surface marks and light scratchs, and has very little effect on play and still sounds very good thanks to the 60s heavy vinyl press.

Although not mint this is still a really nice example of this rare South African pressing, now hard to find an any playable condition.
