Condition
The sleeve is one of three different first issue variants. This is the example where the left opening of the gatefold cover is sealed. "Printed and made by Garrod and Lofthouse Ltd." in blue text appears in the inside lower left corner.

The sleeve is really nice, with no sign of ringwear and just a little faint scuffing at the corners & edges to show for its forty five years.

The inner sleeve is a die-cut black polylined inner with patent numbers and "Made in Great Britain" in silver at the bottom. It remains unsplit & intact.

The posters are unused and still very white. Upon close inspection there is just a minute amount of foxing to the back of the posters, but pretty much insignificant.

Like the sleeve, the stickers & posters are not crucial components and can actually be replaced fairly easily and cheaply as the second issue sleeve & accessories are identical.

The vinyl remains in excellent condition with just a couple of light paper scuffs evident upon very close inspection which have no impact on play.

Overall an excellent copy of their masterpiece & now a very sought after pressing. These first issues do not come up for sale often, certainly not as often as we'd like!
