MIKE WESTBROOK CONCERT BAND Celebration (Archive Quality 1967 UK first press 8-track stereo LP on the red & white Deram label, featuring original compositions from band leader Westbrook & John Surman along with Mike Osborne [alto sax], MalcolmGriffiths [trombone], Harry Miller[bass], Alan Jackson [sticks] & Dave Holdsworth [trumpet, flugal horn] etc. Recorded between 29th July 1967 & 5th August 1967 - an outstanding debut from Westbrook & a top British jazz rarity to boot! The front laminated sleeve & the vinyl are both Excellent to Near Mint with barely any signs of wear or play in its life. Recommended SML1013)
