ROBERT WYATT Rock Bottom / Ruth Is Stranger Than Richard (1983 UK 16-track double LP repackaging the two classic albums with red and green Virgin labels. With 'Ruth' considered by many to be the essential Wyatt longplayer, being his first after the accident that left him a paraplegic & caused him to reconsider his approach to music. The resulting personal and introspective songs show Wyatt ploughing new ground in songwriting territory, resulting in his most focused and relaxed album up to the time of its release.Thegatefold picture sleeve reproduces the artwork for both albums. The sleeve shows some light storage wear and, aside from a few very light paper scuffs, the vinyl is in excellent condition VGD3505)
