In order to receive this exclusive box, Japanese fans had to send in proof of purchase to Toshiba-EMI in Japan for ALL EIGHT 2006 CD remastered albums, and then a lottery scheme was run to choose the lucky fans who would receive one among the EXTREMELY LIMITED quantity of boxes commissioned for this special campaign. Meant as a cross-promotion for the reissues AND a marketing tool to call attention to the Stones' five scheduled concerts between 22 MARCH and 5 APRIL, 2006, this official box set instantly became THE Stones rarity of the new millennium, and although many have heard of its presence on the scene, few have actually seen one in person.
