Labels - The colour of the labels are deep red with bright siver print and are free from writing and stickers. The Decca logo is 'unboxed' with 'Recording First Published...' lettering. Some marks are evident around the spindle area of either side of the label.

Vinyl - The 'Tell Me' track is the legendary 2 minutes 52 seconds version.
Matrices read:
XARL-6271-2A on side 1 and XARL-6272-1A on side 2 with a stamped '1' and 'C' on both sides.

This item has obviously been used and enjoyed but the superior pressing from this era holds its sound quality far better than latter era pressings and while there are some minor crackles and clicks in certain areas, overall the sound is far better than looking at the actual vinyl might suggest.

Sleeve - The front laminated non-flipback picture sleeve featuring the dark moody image that has become iconic with the band is in very good condition. The colours are rich and deep. Edges are sharp with clearly legible spine print with some minor laminate lifting/creasing. The rear of the picture sleeve which has not been preserved with laminate these last 40 years has begun to show signs of it's age with minimal scufff marks in places.

There are no rips, tears writing or any other major defects.

The tracklisting on the reverse of the sleeve lists Side 1 Track 4 as 'I Need You Baby' rather than 'Mona', as on the label.

A very decent copy of this rare hard to find collectors item vinyl LP!
