PRETTY THINGS The Pretty Things (1965 UK first pressing 12-track mono LP on the 'rough' textured black and silver Fontana label. Their legendary debut attempting [and succeeding] to outdo The Stones with gritty versions of Bo Diddley songs such as Road Runner recorded way up into the red. The front laminated FLIPBACK picture sleeve remains in excellent condition with minimal creases and only the lightest of shelfwear (small patches of laminate lift to corners). The labels show minimal traces around the spindle area with just a few light surface scuffs visible upon close inspection of the vinyl. A wonderful EX-/EX copy of this amazing mono debut in the rarer flipback sleeve variant! TL5239)
