PRETTY THINGS Defecting Grey (2000 US 4-track 10" vinyl EP, featuring the former R & B stalwarts in full-on psychedelic mode, includes the original demo version of their 1967 Columbia single 'Defecting Grey' with its B-side 'Mr. Evasion', plusA& B-sides of their next Columbia single released in 1968, just prior to their masterpiece LP, 'SF Sorrow', now heralded as the first serious attempt at a 'rock opera' [or at least a semi-cohesive story told throughout the 2 sides of the LP],predating The Who's 'Tommy' by 6 months! Liner notes from original member Dick Taylor, housed in a glossy picture sleeve.The sleeve displays only light general wear and the vinyl looks barely played)
