A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE AMAZING BLONDEL The Amazing Blondel & A Few Faces (Ultra rare 1970 UK first issue 10-track stereo LP with 'Gramophone Co' Bell labels, superb fully laminated picture sleeve. This copy is in Amazing [Blondel] condition! SBLL131)
See 'MoreInfo' for condition details ...

Tracklisting: Condition: The sleeve shows just a little light wear but is free from any major defects. The laminate is of the 'floating' variety that was so popular at the time but leaves a slightly sticky non-laminated border that is incredibly prone to damage. Not so in this case. You can still feel the stickiness at the edges after all these years, but no paper loss. The labels have a small discrete name written on them that is so in character with the label that I almost didn't spot it. The labels are still bright and show just a small dark patch where a sticker presumably once was, but no clues as to what that might have been. I discovered that when I was checking under a strong light and found the name! Oh Boy, the vinyl ... Normally these albums surface destroyed, soaked in beer or cider and played to death. It was a real treat to find that this vinyl remains in wonderful condition with just the lightest signs of play. No 'extra grooves', burn marks or any sign of mistreatment at all. A very nice copy indeed of this very rare album. There may be better out there somewhere, but not many. As this is the first one of these we've seen since 1997, not many at all. If you're looking for a nice copy of this album, then look no further, as it will be a long time before another comes around as good as this. Tracklisting: 01 Saxon Lady 02 Bethel Town Mission 03 Season Of The Year 04 Canaan 05 Shepherd's Song 06 Though You Don't Want My Love 07 Love Sonnet 08 Spanish Lace 09 Minstrel's Song 10 Bastard Love
