DAVID BOWIE David Bowie (Rare 1969 UK 9-track stereo vinyl LP, generally regarded as the first Bowie album proper, featuring Space Oddity & the early masterpiece Cygnet Committee, gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics printed across the inner spread SBL7912)
See 'More Info' for condition details of this legendary collectable Bowie record...

Tracklisting: More Information What we have here is one of the most sought after worldwide David Bowie collectables - the original pressing of what is generally regarded as the first Bowie album proper, performed by Bowie and a cast of uncredited 'Friends' including Herbie Flowers, Rick Wakeman, Moody Blues bassist John Lodge and [on 'Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud'] Mick Ronson. Despite this stellar line-up and the success of the 'Space Oddity' single, the album was a commercial failure, hence its scarcity today - it would be reissued in 1972 by RCA, but with a new title and a alternate sleeve. This original gatefold sleeve design features an image of Bowie on the front based on Hungarian-born artist Victor Vasarely's piece 'CTA 25 Neg', with George Underwood's drawing 'The Depth Of The Circle' on the reverse illustrating aspects of the album's lyrics. The lyrics themselves are printed across the centre of the gatefold. This is an item that defines 'rare'. They just don't come along very often. Condition Due to its matt finish, the sleeve has succumbed to some minor edge scuffing & storage wear in its time, the front has some paper loss in two places where it looks like a sticker has been removed, reaching a fair grade. The labels have some marks around the spindle holes to show it has been played a few time. The vinyl has a small chip at the edge on the first side but there is still enough area to place the needle at the start, there is a small scratch on the second side which goes through half of the third song 'Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud', but plays through the song with only a few light clicks. In general the vinyl has a few light & mostly cosmetic surface marks We need professionally cleaned & play tested, and can confirm that apart from a few clicks as mentioned above, it plays through without a problem. Overall, this is a fair copy, an ideal collection filler & play copy at an advantageous price. Tracklisting Side One 1. Space Oddity 2. Unwashed And Somewhat Slightly Dazed 3. Letter To Hermione 4. Cygnet Committee Side Two 1. Janine 2. An Occasional Dream 3. The Wild Eyed Boy From Freecloud 4. God Knows I'm Good 5. Memory Of A Free Festival
SMASHING PUMPKINS Gish (Rare original 1991 UK 10-track LP, their classic debut album including I Am One, Siva & Rhinoceros [plus a secret untitled song at the end!], housed in a tinted fish-eye lens picture sleeve with illustrated inner. The sleeve shows very little wear and vinyl looks stunning & is in near mint condition HUTLP2)

Tracklisting: 1. I Am One 2. Siva 3. Rhinoceros 4. Bury Me 5. Crush 6. Suffer 7. Snail 8. Fristessa 9. Window Paine 10. Daydream
THE CRAZY WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown (1968 US 11-track stereo LP, pasted laminate picture sleeve with notes by Charles Fox on the reverse.
What's not to like about this album ?
The keyboard fireworks & arrangements by the late Vincent Crane setting the scene for the immense 'Fire Suite' that takes all of side one ?
The living legend that is the amazing Arthur Brown [who is still just as incredible today] with a vocal range thatwe lesser mortals can only dream about ?
Just for all you pop pickers it even contains the 'Big Hit Single'!
Each & every one is a worthy reason to grab this alone. The sleeve has a small deletion pin-hole & shows merely the lightest spot of edge wear. The vinyl is Excellent with little sign of play - A gem! SD8198).

Tracklisting: 01. Prelude - Nightmare 02. Fanfare - Fire Poem 03. Fire 04. Come & Buy 05. Time 06. Confusion 07. I Put A Spell On You 08. Spontaneous Apple Creation 09. Rest Cure 10. Money 11. Child Of My Kingdom
