A FEW OF THE MOST RECENT ITEMS WE WANT...

THE YARDBIRDS Five Live Yardbirds (Legendary 1964 first UK issue 10-track mono LP on the blue & black Columbia label, the live debut featuring Eric 'Slowhand' Clapton, one of the classic 'rave up' records to come from the Sixties British rock & roll boom, front laminated flipback picture sleeve. Please see 'more info' for condition details... 33SX1677)

Tracklisting: 1. Too Much Monkey Business 2. I Got Love If You Want It 3. Smokestack Lightnin' 4. Goodmorning Little Schoolgirl 5. Respectable 6. Five Long Years 7. Pretty Girl 8. Louise 9. I'm A Man 10. Here 'tis Condition : - Sleeve : - The front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' sleeve has rounded flipbacks & is dated '6412' at the bottom. The laminate has done an incredible job of shielding the sleeve for half a century from the ravishes of time, although the rear panel does exhibit a little faint age yellowing. There is a tiny half inch split at the opening on the back but nothing that upsets the print. The flipbacks are nice & secure & all text is clearly legible, especially Giorgio Gomelsky's [Crawdaddy Club owner] fantastic liner notes, & most notably along the spine, which remains a lovely off white. Labels :- The labels are the original black & blue Columbia design, with 'Sold In UK' text & the 'Graphophone' misspelling around the perimeter. There is some light spindle wear to indicate play but nothing excessive, & no wear stands in the way of the print. The matrices read: Side 1 - XAX 2725-1N Side 2 - XAX 2726-1N Vinyl : - The heavyweight vinyl has been professionally cleaned & has come up looking sparkling. We have play tested both sides & the sound quality is immense, with no distortion. The music is so overpowering that any surface background is kept to a bare minimum, especially if you play the record correctly in a mono setting, excluding any surface noise across a stereo field that might occur. Yes, this record does exhibit paper scuffing & the odd light scratch but these are faint & these do not interfere with playback. This is a highly enjoyable & historic VG condition British original that comes recommended.
MILLER ANDERSON Bright City (Very Rare 1971 UK 7-track stereo LP, front laminated gatefold picture sleeve with lyrics on the reverse. With Mick Weaver of the Keef Hartley Band (which Miller had just left) providing various keyboard treats andMadeline Bell & Liza Strike providing backing vocals, this was a album that was criminally overlooked at the time and now hunted ferociously by collectors the world over as a classic. Apart from a little corner scuffing, the sleeve on this copyremains near 'as new' with no smoke staining or laminate cresing evident. The vinyl too remains near 'as new' with little sign of play. As a nice touch, there are period reviews of the album affixed to the poly lined inner. A fantastic album in fantastic condition - You will not find better than this! SDL3)

Tracklisting: Alice Mercy (To Whom It May Concern) The Age Of Progress Nothing In This World Bright City Grey Broken Morning High Tide, High Water Shadows 'cross My Wall
THE RAMONES Ramones (Rare 1987 Australian issue of the 1976 14-track vinyl LP includes Beat On The Brat, Loudmouth, Today Your Love Tomorrow The World, unique glossy light green and silver picture sleeve variant + lyric inner. The vinyl and sleeve are in mint condition AIM1015)

Tracklisting: 1. Blitzkrieg Bop 2. Beat On The Brat 3. Judy Is A Punk 4. I Wanna Be your Boyfriend 5. Chain Saw 6. Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue 7. I Don't Wanna Go Down In The Basement 8. Loudmouth 9. Havana Affair 10. Listen To My Heart 11. 53rd & 3rd 12. Let's DAnce 13. I Don't Wanna Walk Around With You 14. Today Your Love Tomorrow The World
